PROPOSED GAUTENG COMMUNITY SAFETY OVERSIGHT BILL

Members of the public are requested to make written submissions on the proposed Gauteng Community Safety Oversight Bill.
The proposed Bill seeks to develop and introduce provincial oversight models in respect of the police in compliance with the constitutional mandate of provinces to monitor police conduct and to oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of the South African Police Service and municipal police.
