The picketing will also be used as tool to campaign and educate men on understanding and dealing with social issues that often lead to Gender-Based Violence and Child abuse.

The Gauteng Provincial Legislature’s (GPL) Men’s Forum will tomorrow, 6 September 2019 picket outside the Provincial Legislature in an effort to lobby Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs) to develop a Legislation that will ensure harsher sentences for Gender Based Violence Offenders.
The GPL Men’s Forum is made up of male employees within the GPL and motivates and inspires men to be examples of change in society to ensures that every citizen enjoys the right of living in a democratic country free from any form of fear.
