As part of the annual Women’s month program, the Honourable Speaker of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) will honour Gauteng women who have made positive strides in empowering others in society.
The month of August will see the GPL’s Multi-party Women’s Caucus lead the nineth Annual Vita Basadi Awards – an initiative of the GPL which aims to recognize excellence by Gauteng women in various areas of work and/or acts of service to fellow citizens without the means to help themselves.
The Speaker of the GPL will honour women of courage who continue to make a difference in their communities.
